Increasing demand in recent years highlights a growing need for qualified personnel to work with newborns and toddlers as early childhood educators in British Columbia. This field offers rewarding job opportunities for people who want to play an important role in childhood development. Working with young children can be challenging and fulfilling, but it can also be a lot of fun.
Early childhood education can be termed as “learning through play.” In CDI College's Early Childhood Education program, you will learn to connect with children and their families, providing quality child care and education in various environments. You will learn how to engage children through music, literature, drawing, games and many different social and creative activities to facilitate their intellectual and social development.
Program Duration:

You will also be taught classroom management, curriculum planning and daycare administration. Upon graduation, you will be prepared to work in a number of ECE settings or even start your own business. The program includes a practicum placement, giving you the chance to work in the field before graduation.
