Ready to become a hero? CDI College’s Practical Nursing program is a British Columbia College of Nursing Professionals (BCCNP)-recognized program designed to prepare you for a professional career as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).

BC Practical Nursing Courses

The practical nursing courses at CDI College provide you with opportunities to develop, integrate, and demonstrate knowledge, skills, and judgement. Upon graduation, you’ll have the skills to efficiently deliver patient-centred, culturally sensitive care to individuals, families, and groups of all ages.

During the program, you will participate in four work experience opportunities in a range of healthcare settings so you’re prepared to hit the ground running in your new career. You’ll also take part in a final preceptorship at the end of the program.

Program Duration:

Licensed Practical Nurse

Practical nursing is the second largest nursing group in Canada, after Registered Nurses (RNs). LPNs treat health conditions, promote health, prevent illness and assist patients to achieve optimal levels of health and wellness. They work with a team of doctors and RNs to deliver the best possible care to patients in hospitals, long-term care facilities, doctor's offices, schools, and other healthcare settings.

After completing every course in the Practical Nursing program, you’ll be eligible to apply to become an LPN through BCCNP.
