You'll support clients' physical, emotional, social, and spiritual well-being as a trusted member of the health care team. This program holds full five-year recognition from the BC Care Aide & Community Health Worker Registry, confirming it meets provincial standards and graduates job-ready caregivers.
Program Duration:
24 weeks
You will be placed in real healthcare workplaces and expected to function as a regular employee, so you gain the valuable real-world experience that so many employers seek in the current market.
One 210-hour-long practice education placement will take place in a multi-level care setting, while the second 60-hour placement will take place in a home support, assisted living, or group home setting.
